i was having conversation with a friend.
he said to me i know you are gay and for your own good (after life), dont indulge in this sin and to be patient and live alone because i only have 20-30 years left (i am 40).

I retorted, in that case why doesnt he show me how to control his desires by not getting married and so i will have someone as a support...

so ignoring the whole 'gay' issue - would He get reward for staying celibate so that i will have support and so i dont indulge in sins? My take is that he will, as I wont sin because i know he is going through the same and if he can live like that, i should too..

of course i wouldnt want him to live alone as i know its hard and not just.. but just wanted to know if he would get reward ?
