Copying smalls on Google Drive

Here I am with yet another question!
One thing I've observed when downloading things VOBs with smalls from Google Drive is that the smalls never work, so I have to play the VOBs individually. Does this have to do with the fact that it is "Copy of VTS_01_1.VOB"? Does this mean that everyone is encouraged to download the files then upload them again instead of using the "Make a copy" feature on Google Drive?
