My favorite band is Joy Division, followed by the Cure for their obvious heavy bass sound that they developed. I don't like the whole car subwoofer "rattle your brain out" type of bass, but rather the beautiful melodies and vibrations of the electric bass.
Anything similar to Joy Division, the Cure, King Gizzard, Pentangle, Delta 5, etc. that have a strong emphasis on the bass I would love to listen to more of.
Even something wild and obscure like this, it has great bass in it! Six Feet Under - In Retrospect (1969-70): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C2xSoyHNtg4
My favorite genres are probably rock, post punk, punk, metal, gothic rock, psychedelic rock, etc. I really like obscure stuff too, there's a lot of obscure bands I love that have this type of sound but I need more!
