So I was wondering if anyone knows of any artists that share themes with other artists, some music you have discovered were too similar to others. It can be between varying genres and also if they blatantly share the same song name, or similarity. This is not for covers, this is for similarities between artists themes.

EXAMPLE, Nine Inch Nails "Art is Resistance" can be seen as eerily similar to Muses, "The Resistance" album. Also Muse's "Psycho" is similar to Nine Inch Nails "Year Zero" album. Plus has lyrics saying "Love will get you nowhere, you are on your own" while Nine Inch Nails has "Love is not enough" , also muse has the lyrics in "Psycho" similar to "Meet your Master" NIN, (Lost in the wild, So come to me now) ...etc and so forth. So what have you found? That is eerily similar to another band/artist?
