I've been bitten by the music bug again after buying my first ipod classic and have been enjoying listening to music again. But don't really know many artists off the top of my head despite listening to literally thousands of artists.

it got me thinking who are well known artists like Queen that are sometimes overlooked because people don't bother getting into because "its too popular".

I feel bands like aerosmith rarely get talked about anymore, but have some really good bangers that aren't "dude looks like a lady" or "love on an elevator" they have some really good songs like "train kept a rolling all night long" and "kings and queens" which is my personal favorite.

Any bands worth checking out that are popular but people just overlook?
