By guilty pleasure, I mean very out of place from your own established music taste but you can’t help but love it, or your music friends might judge but it doesn’t matter (I know it really never really matters). Or like doesn’t really make sense or fits your personality. Like you’re a redneck who loves to blast a specific Italian opera singer from your beater truck. Or a church granny who gets down to some Swedish doom core. I’ll start. Where my standard choices range from heavy metal and punk to alt hip hop, I have a soft spot for Carly Jepsen- Dedicated in a way that just gets me dancing in public and creatively I think it’s amazingly produced and written and I’ve tried to share it with friends, some who are generally open minded and musically knowledgeable but they just don’t click with it. But I listen and sing along with it every chance I get. What’s yours?
