Was talking with my partner who never realised "Pretty in Pink" wasn't a Dresden Dolls original and got thinking. I never knew that "Tom Sawyer" wasn't a Mindless Self Indulgence tune until I got into Rush, so what song did you love but didn't realise was a cover, and how do you feel about the original? Only really interested in actual covers as opposed to traditional or folk songs that were recorded by several artists.
