I think Pearl Jam did it for me this week. Was all excited to get selected in the lottery only to find out, upper bowl tickets started at $175 fees. For comparison, in 2022 the cheapest tickets started were $158 total with fees for TWO. Yes, different venue but same area and promoter. It’s the same crap with just about every band. Blink 182, I was able to score two tickets pretty right next to the stage for $296 with fees just last year. Anything similar would be $305 fees for one ticket!!

I have noticed the whole platinum/vip packages have take over ticketmaster but also a ton of seats being resold. Scalpers have ruined it for us recently but it seems that ticketmaster has caught up and made dreadful “packages”. Seems like the days of scoring $30 decent tickets are over. Eventually, this will be unsustainable right???

Yea, trying to take my son to his first concert, want to see Cory Wong, and the only time he is playing near us it’s like $250 for the ticket. It is a festival, but this festival use to be free, then it was $50 a day now it’s $250… fucking crazy.
