I’m talking the kinda thing that you put on and, after listening for no more than 10 seconds, you don’t feel anything but mildly infuriated at the sentiment it’s trying to convey. You wanna keep playing it over and over again just to see if you can find any common ground with the lyrics, but with every repetition it just feels less and less about anyone like you. This feeling draws you in and makes you feel oddly satisfied in knowing that there’s things out there so mindnumpingly fucked up that even your own hardships can feel more… well human… in comparison. It’s almost beautiful how right the singer is about the depreciated nature of our world, but to you, they couldn’t be any further from how you view yourself and most other people as being, overall, much less miserable about their own humanity. If you have any thoughts, I’d love to hear them.
