My setup may look haggard but it is efficient on space, has excellent FAE, and maintains an average 85% humidity.
Pictures aren’t great but I’ll break it down.
White box on bottom left is a Honeywell HEPA air purifier. Set on a 30 min on/ 30 min off timer.
White 2” PVC pipe runs from a 90 degree elbow facing the HEPA flow up to a hole in the upper area of tent where it is sealed in providing (clean) FAE.
5-tier wire shelve with one removed to allow room on the top shelf for a humidifier.
HuPro humidifier. The way it runs it can’t be controlled by my inkbird but instead can itself be set to a specific humidity (why it’s inside the tent.) Found it at the thrift store for $5 though.
I have 2 pans on each of the Bottom 4 shelves, two of which are metal dividers which I’ve zip tied into hanging shelves to use more space 😛.
The 5th shelf has the humidifier and two medium-ish mono tubs. The monotub on top rests on an sterlite lid/the shelf I removed to fit humidifier.
The tent has several holes cut into it with Merv 13 filter material sealed over them for FAE.
The mono-tub also has two large holes covered with Merv-13 but a Tyvek barrier over the holes on the inside to prevent the filter material from being too moist/letting out too much moisture from tub. (Tip: I bought a small roll of plastic shipping wrap and wrapped the top /lid of the mono-tub like one does a dish with para-film to protect during substrate inoculation.)
Well that’s about it. A little ghetto but I’m having great results in a one bedroom apartment so 😝. I do all work I can in front of my flow hood in a clean kitchen.
