As a total n00b people talk about trying to isolate things and stuff on their agar plates and I'm interested. Problem: They couldn't exactly tell me what I should be trying to do.
..So I created an Atlantic ocean hurricane plate after many attempts. The Lions mane was also amusing for how it fruited on the plate.
So it is now fully 3d and 3/4 of the way to the top glass. Much better looking from a hurricane perspective than other attempts, which got pitched out in the yard. I want to take this further, so it just explodes, Akira flesh monster style, and fills all the available space in no time.. and then rips the micropore loose and throws the top lid across the room. ..is that the right direction?
So am I doin' it right? Should I not be trying to create weather formations? What am I missing here?
Oh, it has also eaten every single drop of black food coloring I put in the agar. What is up with that? I have ordered powdered charcoal to maybe prevent this in the future.
