So I have been using some colored MEA agar plates, every time I try working with them it ends in the same contamination. The plates will turn the color of regular agar almost. The mycelium on top will look good, but around it and underneath turns that agar(ish) color.
I work in a SAB. I clean and sterilize, but its the same thing every time. Grain bags come out fine, but not agar. Smh
