Post Body

I'm finally about to start my lions mane grows, and plan on doing several to experiment on a handful of different substrates, them being:

Hardwood pellets only, Softwood pellets only, Coir only, The above again but 50% soy hulls (masters mix variations), Same again but about 20% soy hulls, And another batch with beech chips. All sterilised first.

I bought an LC syringe of lions mane, and took the time to expand that into 2 jars so I have tons of it now, and have qc'd both jars on agar to confirm it is healthy and contam free. So now it's onto the next step! But I'm an eager beaver, and I'm quite keen to get fruits fast.

Im not worried about wasting LC as I have tons now, but I am worried about wasting substrate, so I am asking you folks if you have had success with going from LC straight to bulk sub rather than going to grain before sub.
