Im nearly out of parafilm, i still have a little bit, but it isnt quite enough to do the 20 new petri dishes ive just poured.
theyre stacked in a single tower, all 20 (to reduce condensation on lids), but as i checked my parafilm, it appears i have just enough to do about 15 give or take.
because of this, i havent wrapped them, ive just kept them in this single tower stack, with the sleeve the dishes came sterilised in covering them temporarily.
is there a just as good alternative to parafil that i can use for my petri dishes, or am i best off just spending the money on actual parafilm?
im trying to keep in mind the gas exchange and the moisture retention proporties of parafilm, otherwise i would already be using some alternatively crude substitute, like electrical tape or something.
