This cake is the first one I've done in my new tent. As well as the first time working with this strain. It was UB tek for inoculation and then S2B. It was slow to colonize so I've just been letting it take it's time. All these little dudes started poking up so I set it up for fruiting conditions then fucked up and let the cake dry out. It's shrank a ton, I rehydrated it, dumped out the excess water... I've been running a fogger in the tent to keep it humid (I'm in the desert and if I leave the fogger off overnight it gets down to about 40% humidity at the highest).

Now my concern is with the surface of the cake... The pictures don't do it justice, but everything you see that is white on the top of it is an almost plastic like film on the top of everything that runs between or over all the baby pin head. I can tell It's not a contam.
They have been stunted at this stage of growth for a bit longer than a week now and I feel like something is definitely missing. Any suggestions or experience with what I'm describing?
