I was reading that my parents' house was built on the site of a Muscogee camp when Europeans came here. I have a strong feeling it was a sacred space. It's by a lime-sink and a creek, and I also read a quote by someone called "The Old Gopher" who said he lived deep down in a hole here and watched the land change from gallberry thicket and mud swamp to a town with saloons when the railroad came through. Anyway, what do you guys think about what I should do with if I inherit half the property? (it's only about an acre maybe--my part).
