Tongue twitch?

Does anyone get twitching in their tongue that can be felt & is just like the twitches everywhere else? I get them on the sides of my tongue a few times a day. And they feel just like the twitches on the rest of my body. But they stop before I can take a look at my tongue. It scares me a lot.
