I posted before regarding symptoms of muscle twitching (including tongue) and leg cramps. I also have pain in my legs and left hand. As well as feelings of weakness. My neurologist said that it is not ALS and I had a clean EMG 3 weeks into symptoms. Of course I’m still terrified I have ALS & the test was too early. I was thinking, however, could my symptoms be related to stopping antidepressants? I had been taking them for 14 years and tapered off around the beginning of October. I had the typical brain zap symptoms and emotional overload of stopping the meds. The twitching and cramping came a week or two after the brain zaps had stopped. So, stopped taking meds approx Oct 1 and “ALS” symptoms show up around Oct 17. So has anyone ever had their symptoms show up after stopping an antidepressant?
