Hello!
Long time lurker, first time poster!
I was wondering if anyone can recommend either a pain killer or a method of dealing with the pain associated with MS taking eyes for a spin?
Eye pain and double vision were the very first of my MS symptoms when I was diagnosed a couple of years back, they have been gone for some time at first, but now it's the one recurring thing that I can't really handle. At its worst, the pain is truly excruciating, sometimes radiating across the entire head. I used to take common painkillers, but at this point, they don't really do anything for me. Not that the pain and the double vision hit me that often, but when they do, it's rather tough. The doctor says it's to be expected and to continue to use ibuprofen and stuff, but the dude hasn't really been helpful since he's been more or less unavailable for over a year now because of the pandemic. No other pains apart from the eye. And it's not always the same eye, one eye stops being a dick, and then a few months later it will be the next one, sometimes the same eye a few times in a row.
So I was hoping maybe someone here has found a way of dealing with that particular issue? I read that CBD oil can be helpful with pain in MS, can anyone confirm? Or maybe someone could suggest something else?
Thanks!
