all the info that comes in the kesimpta box sounds really intense but i know they need to include worst case scenarios. i just dont trust my luck with not being that one person that gets the worst case scenario 😠after being diagnosed with MS i have little faith in my medical luck.
so what is it like being on kesimpta? do you find you need to mask in public? do you get sick more often? do you feel symptoms more intensely, or does it just take you longer to feel better? just seeking some advice from real people who have taken the drug.
I haven't been getting sick often at all. At the first sign of a cold, or if my partner is sick, I just go immediately into sick girl mode (lots of sleep and water! Elderberry syrup, oil of oregano, and raw honey. Not taken together lol) and that nips it in the bud. I also don't do all the intense precautions you're asking about. I'm fine in crowds without a mask, I don't wipe down handles of carts (just wash my hands after going to the grocery store etc), and I'm a frequent flyer (masks are on and off throughout). I feel much better on Kesimpta than I ever felt on Gilenya!
