Socializing on immune compromising meds
Post Body

To anyone on Ocrevus/Kesimpta/Rituxan/Etc

How do you guys socialize and meet new people and go out in general? Are you scared about being immunocompromised? From what I understand these meds are like a chemotherapy and you are way more likely to get sick and have the sickness hit you harder. Am I wrong? I plan to start one of these meds soon and I'm scared about what that means for me in terms of seeing my family and friends. Should I be masking at all time? Should I avoid social gatherings? I know a lot of people on these meds live "normal" lives and travel and see others, but is there something I'm missing??

Sorry for the rant I'm just confused and stressed and going through it today.

Weirdly I am less prone to sickness on Kesimpta. And when I do feel the flutters of a cold I immediately go hard with rest and hydration. I love Kesimpta and it doesn't inhibit my social life at all!
