Does anyone get home draws for the lemtrada bloodwork? I was using labcorp but the techs were so terrible I told my neuro I refused to get them done so we restarted the home draws hoping Iād have a better experience. The draws themselves are substantially better but the scheduling is terrible. They always want me to give them three days and times Iām available and they never confirm the appt with me.
Once the tech was going to show up right in the middle of a certification exam I was taking. Luckily she didnāt but it stressed me out because if she had made noise they would have disqualified me from the exam and Iād have to retake it. For December Iām not even sure I gave them dates at all and I got a text on Christmas āconfirmingā my appt for the next day. I know I didnāt give them that date. I told her not to come.
It feels like they assume Iāve got no plans so itās fine to show up whenever is convenient for them. I still work full time and have a life. Itās been probably close to a year of this and nothing has helped. Iāve never had them give me an appt day and time. For February I gave them one day and time. No more: three dates, show up whenever. Weāll see how it goes.
I think Iām done with them early 2025. Canāt wait. What has everyone elseās experiences been like with the blood draws?
