Post Body

So for my first actual build I, uhh, decided to design a flight controller myself instead of buying one off the market. It was for a final year project in my engineering associate's degree so that's why I went with such a roundabout route. I did the PCB design in Kicad, had it made by JLCPCB and here I am. It works fine but I'm gonna have to do some PID tuning. https://imgur.com/a/Vi1Uecy

Parts:

  • Q380 Frame with F330 legs
  • DIY Arduino Pro Mini-based flight controller with GY86 10DOF board
  • Hobbywing UBEC 3A
  • Hobbywing Lotte XRotor 20A ESC
  • Sunnysky X2212-13 KV980 II motors
  • Gemfan 1045 props
  • TS835 VTX with Foxeer Lollipop 3
  • Caddx Ratel
  • Emax ES08MDII (for the camera stabilization servo)
