So I'm desperately trying to get into drones, I finally went out and bout a Wizard x220hv on eBay, and went through 3 receivers in the process of getting one that "should work." (The last one was suggested by the previous owner as a working one.)

In the process of troubleshooting why it wouldn't see the receiver, I flashed from Betaflight 4.3.0 (iirc?) to 4.4.0 and now no matter how much I try, if I set PPM and then save & reboot, it reverts back to whatever its previous setting was.

What did I do wrong? How do I fix this? I hoped to enjoy this as a hobby, but so far it's been nothing but stress and an inch-long third degree soldering iron burn (don't ask, I was trying to save a critter and forgot the iron)...
