Anyone else upset and/or confused that they're already announcing new characters while Rick is just sitting there in the game's code, only accessible by hackers?

If Rick is fully working, then why isn't he available to the general public? It can't be because of QA testing, because they still have "Beta" slapped on the title screen; if there are bugs or balancing issues, now would be the time to sort them out. It doesn't instill much confidence if they're already looking towards the future before dealing with what's right in front of them.
