Why would they release the game without ranked ready

Seems like the stupidest thing to me, enjoy losing a lot of your competitive player base due to lack of patience. Like I’m confused why they took the game away, as someone who played the beginning all they changed is the speed of attacks and added a battle pass. What’s your guys thoughts
