I’m re-watching the season right now and I just can’t believe how many people took Mattie’s side. It almost seems like they just edited it very extremely to make Ashley look bad. There’s no way not a single person disagreed with her, but I know that’s the power of editing. Overall, it just seemed to be her storyline with people not trusting her.

I know that what Ashley said was personal, but Mattie slut shaming her is also personal. Also, Ashley didn’t lie and Mattie didn’t seem to show any remorse. I don’t think she was upset because she felt bad, she was upset because she got called out on it. I just can’t imagine having zero remorse for that and then being upset that you got called out for doing something bad.

Edit: For those of you on Mattie’s side, or who are on both/neither side, I really would love to hear why. I do genuinely think there could be a good reason and it’s one I’d be interested in hearing :) I want this to be safe and healthy for communicate and potentially disagree without going to far
