So I don’t think I’m the only one who wants to finally be done with the spy themed seasons. Seeing the storyline this season so far being a vets alliance vs un-united rookies, I think it would be a great time to do a 2-team rookies vs vets season.

Our last 2-team season was WOTW2, which I absolutely ADORE. This was mostly due to the messy ass politics of the season, though a major downside was how Team US absolutely dominated nearly every challenge over Team UK. My thoughts on a rookies vs vets season would try and fix that.

For the Veterans Team I’d honestly get rid of a majority of those we’ve been stuck with these past few seasons. I’d want a vet team similar to that from WOTW2, in that there are so many dominant personalities and previous issues between it’s members that it’s implosion was destined to happen. Idk about everyone else but I hate this seasons’ vets alliance, since I’m honestly a sucker for more aggressive gameplay and drama (and I find it dumb to do all this “strategy” and pat themselves on the back when their doing this against people who have no clue what tf the game is).

For the Rookies Team I’d make a change to the definition of “rookie.” I personally feel that a player is a rookie their first two seasons of the game, and don’t really consider them a “veteran” until their third go. I might be alone in that feeling, but oh well. For that reason I’d honestly make the Rookie Team include players that haven’t played the game, and also have only played one season. This mostly to give a chance for the Rookie Team to have a slight bit of experience on their side, so they’re not absolutely clueless. I wouldn’t want more than half the team to be composed of players like this, and I’d open up this pool of players to recent rookies from SL&A and DA (maybe even include WOTW1/WOTW2 for throwbacks). Also I think it would be hilarious to put Nam on this team considering his unfortunate short go this season.

For format I’d want eliminations to avoid the stupidity of the WOTW2 elimination format. Eliminations will always be Veteran vs Rookie. I personally love the format in BOTS2 where there were 4 elimination types for the winning team to choose from, so I’d wish they’d bring that back this season. I’m also sick of the emphasis on physical strength by the recent vets over actual other important components of the game, so this could also be a fun equalizer that knocks some vets egos down a bit and force them to think a bit more strategically. To make it work I’d make it so that the winning teams male or female captain (depending on elimination week) gets to attend both teams’ deliberations, and ultimately decides what type of elimination it’ll be.
