Leroy’s cousin Candice got removed from the game over a broken toe. We’ve seen people allowed to compete with worse injuries, Cara continued through with a broken hand and a full cast on it. At this point in the game Cara, with Abram not on the cast but available as an alternate, hooked up with Thomas.

Does anyone think production used Candice’s injury as an excuse to get anyone extra out of the game so they could bring Abram in to have that drama with Cara and Thomas?

I know Tony had to be removed as well, but they removed Candice right before the same elimination where Tony passed out and had to go back to the hospital, so they had clearly made the decision to take Candice out of the game before they knew Tony would have to leave as well.
