Advice on asking out a co-worker

Post Body

I am NOT a straight guy, but you’d never figure that out by looking at me. I want to ask out a girl I work with, and I can’t help but think of all the ways it can go wrong. Part of me wants to do it, just so she can say no, and I can move on. No one I work with has any idea that I’m trans, so asking her out as a “guy” just feels like I’m lying.

I really need to work on myself, for a variety of reasons, so I’m not really sure if starting a relationship in, any context, is a good idea right now.
