Has anyone here had bariatric surgery of any kind while on HRT?
As background, I'm just frustrated with where I am in terms of losing weight. I've pretty much always been very overweight. Once I realized I was trans about a year ago, I got amped up and started treating my body better. I workout 3 to 5 times a week (mix of cardio and weights) and have been eating healthier. Physically, I'm feeling great and my vitals are all in a good spot from what my doctor is telling me.
All that being said, I still haven't lost much weight. After a year, I've dropped around 20 pounds total. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not aiming to be super thin (to be honest, I would prefer to have some curves!) and, with my bone structure, it wouldn't really be possible. I'm thinking about asking my doctor next check in about possible options (I'm pretty sure insurance will cover it with my BMI), but also figured I'd post here to see if anyone here went through that process and how things went.
