Hey! Who here is into athletic activities? Anyone want to share their experience? For me, being a trans woman and a dedicated trapeze performer is a tough combination. I have to be strong to do my sport/activity, but that makes passing harder (even with 17 yrs HRT). Also, HRT makes it harder to stay strong (I've tried a million regimens). But a positive part of it is that the circus/athletic communities I'm in are super trans-positive. I love the acceptance and support, and there are lots of other fellow "weirdos" involved. Getting sweaty together is a huge mental health boost. My main frustration is how hard it is to combine transitioning with athletics. Anyone here relate?
