Well after being stood up on monday. He profusely apologized and we got to talking again, and set to try again on Thursday. So the days go by and finally the day comes. We start off the day texting, he tells me he got an interview and it might postpone any plans. So im like that’s cool, hope it goes well. So I go take care of some stuff. We actually get to talk on the phone and that was nice. I felt so good about things and that we were going to have our first meeting tonight. Well after we hung up he texted me saying he was going to take a nap, then we would do something.

So I said ok, and next thing I know it’s 11pm. He messages me, I ask him what’s going on and he said he’s super tired and just wants to do nothing. THIS PISSED ME OFF. I didn’t let a lot of anger through, but some disappointment definitely. So we kinda got into this back and forth and he dropped this bombshell “nothing with this has to do with you, maybe I’m just not ready for a relationship”. Like how do you go on a dating app, exhaust more than a week of texting and talking and flirting, to have the sudden realization that you’re not ready????

So after being promised on two SEPARATE occasions that we would have our first date, I was stood up.

Such a great start to my dating career as a woman.
