Is this just my voice?

Good day everyone! I've been voice training for almost a year now, and I try to use my voice as often as I can, and I don't want a super-high pitched voice, the point is, I was talking today with someone and they said that they want to apologize beforehand because according to them I sounded "male", so I'm definitely doing something wrong, is my voice just wrong? do I have like just 1 "female" voice I can get and that's it, or can I modify my voice to actually sound feminine and deep?
