Girls, let me tell you I'm feeling so good! For context, I'm 35 and pre everything. I wasn't exactly in boy mode, wearing some femme shorts and a floral t-shirt and baseball cap and I had a few days stubble. She did "correct" herself and said sir, but I was honestly so excited that someone's first guess was right, I decided not to correct her and just ride the high of her being right the first time. It was the first time someone in not an explicitly queer place gendered me correctly at first glance. So, thanks old Target employee for this good feeling, even if you were wrong the second time.
