Question for those you who take estradiol tablets sublingually. How do you manage to resist the urge to swallow while you wait for the tablets to dissolve? Also, does a portion of it usually end up like... All over your teeth and the inside of your lips and cheeks and such?

I had my regular appointment with planned parenthood today and I've seen many of you say you can take the same standard oral tablets sublingually and that it makes it more effective due to higher bioavailability so I asked at my appointment just to get the doctor's perspective on it before just doing it. They told me that yes, it does indeed work that way and it's up to me if I want to swallow the pills or take them sublingually so I decided to do sublingual starting today.

It was a challenge to not swallow my saliva while I was waiting and once it felt like they dissolved I looked in the mirror and much of the inside of my mouth was coated in blue. Is that just... Kinda how that goes?

Also side note, I've seen some of you say estradiol tastes gross? To me it tastes like nothing. Also I swear to god I can FEEL it absorbing. The human body is truly bizarre.
