Hi gals, I have a question for anybkdy familiar with depilatory cream. So after a suggestion from a friend of mine I used Nair for face and Veet for arm and leg and some down there spots, following directions to a T. This was just the test run to see if I was allergic so I only smeared it on a few spots and then waited the maximum amount of time stated on each bottle, and after cleaning off I can see that it SORTA worked?

I had already passed an electric hair cutter (for heads) over these parts so I only had longish stubble there, and there was definitely a reduction of hair. But I'm still covered in dark stubble that's just barely poking out of my skin. Sure it's smoother now, but you can still definitely see it and the stubble is still a little pokey. Is this a sign that depilatory cream is just not for me, or should I maybe try waiting a little longer than the recommended time? Or should I REALLY slather it on thick? (I was a little nervous to do so because it's kind of expensive..) Any help is appreciated!!
