Logic and reason
Post Body

I have noticed that there is a high volume of well spoken and well reasoned points expressed on this sub compared to most others. I have a theory about this based on a personal, and possibly shared, experience I had growing up trying to be a boy.

When I was in school really early on, like elementary school, I was bullied a lot for a lot of reasons. Many of those turned out to be related to being trans and I just didn't know it yet. One of those reasons was that I was too emotional. (Literally got called a girl for it, lol) As a result of this I tried to just ignore any expression of emotion altogether in favor of focusing purely on logic and reasoning skills. This lead to me ultimately being emotionally stunted but having a very strong sense of reason. I feel like maybe this could be a shared experience for a lot of trans women, leading to a greater concentration of us then average having solid reasoning skills.

Did anyone else go through this process or is it just me?
