I'm gonna be honest, I'm a massive wimp. I can handle very little physical pain. Seven years on hrt, and my facial hair has not gotten any thinner, and still grows in uncomfortably quick.
My friend is getting electrolysis, and I'm super super happy for her, but I'm too scared of how much it'll hurt (as if I could afford it anyways), so I'm wondering how trans femmes of the past did it before? I'm also wondering this because of how quickly things are getting worse for us, legally and politically. I want to be able to deal with this confidently, even if I lose the right to any form of medical intervention.
