I’m 40 years old, 6 months into HRT 40 year old on 50 mg spironolactone a day and .1mg/day transdermal estradiol and my total testosterone is 577 mg/dl and estradiol is less than 15 pg/ml 😡. Calling the endo first thing tomorrow. My thoughts are doubling the spiro, applying a second patch and testing again in 4 weeks. If t is still high after 4 weeks going to 150 or 200. Opinions?

Update 6 months later: im updating this post so that anyone who is curious about dosing, or just generally meeds some hope can benefit. It wasnt a very popular post mostly because i was feeling down, but a lot has changed. First my estrogen dose was doubled to two .1mg/day transdermal patches and then 3 in February. My spiro dose was also doubled to 50mg x2/day for a total of 100 mg. We since lowered that dose to 75 mg/day. Upon doubling both medications i began to see results again, and im really happy with the changes ive seen. In february i had my numbers checked again. My testosterone level was 11 ng / dl and my estrogen level was 16.7 (hense going from 2-3 patches after getting those results). Not quite perfect but much much better.
