I haven't done any hair removal before, and my clinic for bottom surgery doesn't require it, but I hate the hair in that area and would like to get it removed at some point. They say if I choose to get hair removal done in that general region it should be no sooner than 6 months before surgery to let the skin heal, and that it's recommended doing it in the perineum area only.

If I plan to get either laser or electrolysis done in the perineum area after bottom surgery, is that a viable option? I assume it's not a problem, since that area isn't really touched during SRS, though I'd still be hesitant to get it done there beforehand since I probably wouldn't be done by the time it's 6 months to my surgery.
