How to decide about surgery
Post Body

For your big transition milestones, how did you know what to do? Did you talk it through with everyone you know? Or just go on gut feeling? Or talk to a bunch of doctors?

I've been considering FFS for years. It's not gonna get cheaper. Putting off surgery probably makes my life more difficult.

But $30k and a huge life disruption. And risks. That's really hard to stomach. I don't look terrible now, and my life isn't awful...

But I know I'd look a lot better, and probably my life would be easier. And surgery's not gonna get cheaper!

How do you go forward with a big step you think would help you, but aren't sure?
