24 year old girl here, recently came out to my dad. While he’s trying to be supportive, but he doesn’t understand why I would make my life more difficult, jeopardize my relationship, make my career more difficult, etc.
What’s the best way to tell him that why yes it sucks that I’m going to be inherently losing some privilege and making my life more difficult in some aspects, internally life was 1000x more difficult pretending to be a man and this is something I have to do to be happy. Thanks y’all!
