I'm officially resigning because due to some real life circumstances, which I don't want to say because they are embarrassing on my part, I am not going to be able to log in (Well I still can but I can't actively play) for a few weeks to a month, which is basically the rest of my mayorship. And what kind of mayor is a mayor who can't log in? I'm not going to be the kind of guy to hog this space for a whole month when I can't even help MtA, and I personally want to see more new people become mayor. Being not able to log in isn't the only reason why I am resigning, but it is the main reason.
I was excited when Jovaz first contacted me many months ago about the idea of moving MtA to Realms, since by then I wasn't really playing Classics because I had nothing to do nor was I playing Realms because I left it during the Ez2 drama where my country, Unitas, got taken over by them and was going to wait it all out, but eventually forgot about Realms. Establishing MtA here was a lot more hectic and dramatic than I had hoped for, but in the end we did it. When I learned of the first mayoral elections, I thought I would give it a shot because I had always wanted to be mayor from more than a year ago. I never really had any expectations, so I can't say that being mayor was different then mine, but it has just been different then what I had thought. I've had fun, done stuff that I will probably regret in the upcoming months, but I haven't been the best mayor, been a little too unprofessional at times, and some other stuff which I could be criticized on.
So, best of luck to the next mayor! If anyone has any questions, ask me them here. Best of luck to you Mount Augusta!
