As the law stands currently, the mayor cannot block their own impeachment. The Mount Augustan constitution does not have a concept of impeachment. I am proposing we fix this oversight by changing the word "impeachment" to "recall".
Proposal
Change this:
iv. The Mayor may enact new laws by decree, provided such does not constitute an action expressly prohibited by prevailing law, including, but not limited to, a violation of the Bill of Rights, overturning a popular vote for an official position, blocking their own impeachment, or expanding their own scope of enacting new laws through decree.
