Yes, MPA is a pretty nice acronym. But that aside it's a lousy bill that completely goes against the spirit of MtA.
In the limited discussion thread citylion's primary defense of the bill was that he wanted to be in a position to make more concrete deals and negotiations with foreign leaders for his future UN. Which is essentially autocratic coercion with more steps for the rest of us.
Mount Augusta is a direct-democracy and a minarchy. Though we are increasingly straying further from that.
