The Mayoral Powers Act
In the spirit of the two Fuhrer King Bradley Acts, the Mayoral Powers Act attempts to enhance the position of Mayor while establishing a democratic counter to tyranny. Please do not dismiss it outright, but discuss reasons you're against in the comments. Discussion is integral to democracy.

Article II. Formation and Jurisdiction of Augustan Law
B. Creation of new laws
iv. The Mayor may enact new laws by edict, provided such does not constitute an action expressly prohibited by prevailing law, including, but not limited to, a violation of the Bill of Rights, overturning a popular vote for an official position, blocking their own impeachment, or expanding their own scope of enacting new laws through edicts.
a. Mayoral edicts must be posted to /r/mtaugusta as a new thread with "[Edict]" at the start of the title.
Article III. Enforcement of Augustan Law
B. Court Structure
iv. A majority vote of Judges can file an injunction against any edict passed by the Mayor, which suspends the change and starts a regular Bill Vote on said change.

B. The Mayor's Powers
viii. The Mayor may pass edicts as specified in §II.B.iv.
D. Cupboard Offices
ii. These officers may not be granted any powers beyond those of an ordinary resident.
ii. The Mayor may delegate sections of their powers to these offices.
