I'll be appointing a Secretary of Transportation and Cartographer. Realize that this is more than a title, but involves actual work. Let me know if you are interested and I'll consider the candidates and make an appointment.
D. Minor Offices
i. The Secretary of Transportation has the responsibility to maintain and construct roads, rails, and other transportation infrastructure.
a. The Secretary of Transportation has the responsibility of advising the Mayor on all matters relating to transportation.
b. The Secretary has the further responsibility of negotiating with private landowners to procure the land or land-use rights for the construction of new transportation infrastructure.
c. The position of Secretary must not prevent private citizens from constructing their own roads or altering public roads within their private land claims unless doing so would violate a prior agreement. ii. The Cartographer has the responsibility to develop and maintain maps of Mount Augusta and her neighbors, along with all other map-making duties assigned to them by the Mayor.
a. The Cartographer also has the responsibility of surveying and being aware of land nearby the borders of Mount Augusta.
b. The Cartographer must advise the Mayor on expansion through appropriate claims and land use. iv. Minor offices are not exclusively responsible for the duties listed, and no citizen should be barred from participation without just cause; holders of these offices are merely the person directly responsible for their duties.
v. Minor offices all serve an indefinite term until replaced.
