Hey friends and neighbours. There was a break-in in Njord Tower in Thorne. Two apartments on the 5th floor were broken into. /u/WPLibrar2 and /u/kurdizcivcraft, please check your stuff if you care. I know I did a preliminary walkthrough and nothing seemed terribly wrong, but I have no idea if you two had more chests before or if you have snitches in your apartments. Either way, at some point you should put your doors back on your own groups as I've replaced them with doors on the communal tower bastion group which both of you have access to. Use /ctb to access bypass mode and remove them, or if that doesn't work they only need to break 25 times.

Neighbours and fellow Mount Augustans, please remember to LOG WITH YOUR VALUABLES or at the very least drop chest them. A while back Applenuggets vacation home (just north of Thorne) was broken into, not sure if it was the same guy. I encourage you all to place snitches in your homes, and report all break-ins, so others can take steps to protect themselves.

I've taken the step of heightening security. Before, only parts of the building were snitched. I've added snitches throughout most of the building and snitches snitching the snitches snitching those snitches that way even if someone breaks snitches, they'll have to trace snitches all throughout the property to reach the end, and then those snitches will be linked with citywide snitch networks. There are at least 7 of us living in this building, so we should be snitched up to our gills. Theft is not tolerated in Thorne. We've always been a giving community and if you need something you don't take it, you just ask. I hope, and believe, this was someone who is not a Thorne resident.
