The Mt. Augustan court consists of five positions. Four Judges and a bailiff.

• The position of Judge shall be an elected position, term set to one month.

• The Judge will have no power except to administrate the actual court proceedings and assign a time to be served. Judge will keep a detailed account of the trial, through use of screenshots, evidence, and testimony for posterity. When the case is concluded, a full record of the event will be put on a subreddit with links to evidence for all the world to see.

• The Judge will maintain composure, and will remain neutral in Augustan affairs, and will divest themselves of any political affiliations for the duration of their term.

• The Bailiff will be appointed by the Judge, and may appoint secondaries as necessary.

• The Bailiff will keep order in the court during proceedings. Any disturbance in the court will be seen as an offense against the accused, and the provocateur will be pearled for the remainder of the trial.

• The Bailiff will also take charge of the accused’s pearl (if criminal case) and keep it during proceedings. The Bailiff will also have one of 3 accesses to the vault. The other being the mayor, and the judge.

• The Bailiff will relinquish his position upon request of the Judge. Limitations of positions

• Both the Judge and the Bailiff are subject to the approval of the citizenry, and are therefore open to immediate recall upon a 3/4ths vote of the public. To be held on the reddit.
